SAN FRANCISCO – For the holiday season, Pottery Barn is tying up with a beloved holiday movie – but this collection mostly targets grown-ups.
The new The Polar Express x Pottery Barn assortment includes of dinnerware, bedding and home accessories for holiday entertaining, hosting and gifting. Bedding sizes range from twin/twin XL all the way up to California king.
The home furnishings collaboration with Pottery Barn, Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products draws from the iconic imagery of The Polar Express movie, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this month.
The Polar Express for Pottery Barn collection reimagines the film’s famous golden ticket as a stoneware cookie platter and reinterprets the iconic train as stocking holders and the conductor’s hat as an ornament. Notable pieces from the partnership include a light-up lumbar pillow for the sofa or bed, the train shaped pillow, the printed sheet set and duvet cover and the teacup and saucer replicated from the film.
“The Polar Express for Pottery Barn collection is a playful reinterpretation of some of the movie magic that has made the story a part of so many families’ holiday traditions over the years,” said Pottery Barn president Monica Bhargava.
