Some of the French-inspired pieces from Global Views new collection.
HIGH POINT — Global Views is set to debut its latest collection at the upcoming fall High Point market, featuring French-inspired designs with a modern twist.
The collection highlights bold accessories in chartreuse and French gray, with hand-applied gold leaf accents. Pieces are crafted from solid brass, hand-blown glass, stoneware and ceramics.
The centerpiece of the launch is the Josephine collection, a fusion of classic French elegance and modern design. Made from solid oak in bleached or blackened finishes, the collection’s eight pieces include a bed, daybed and floor screen adorned with traditional French double-wall caning.
“We draw inspiration from around the world, and this season, we are excited to present the beauty and elegance of 18th-century French design in our latest offerings,” said David Gebhart, president of Global Views.
“The reign of Louis XVI inspired our Josephine collection, and my favorite piece is the new Josephine Daybed, which is perfect for any bedroom or living room. To enhance this experience, we’re hosting the Global Views Patisserie, featuring a selection of delicious French treats and drinks.”
To complement the collection, Global Views will host two patisserie-style events offering French-inspired treats: Breakfast in Bed, 8-11 a.m., Oct. 26-28, and Afternoon Apéritifs, 3-6 p.m., Oct. 26-28.
Both events will be held at the Global Views showroom in the International Home Furnishings Center, space D-220.
